Coker Arboretum in the fall
Found some older pictures I took at UNC. I loved the Arboretum in the fall. And the Spring. And covered in snow.
Okay, I just love the arboretum. It made me like snow…which is a thing that I, as a Floridian, naturally distrust.
Now I feel like I need to listen to some James Taylor.
My mother’s Cassia tree just screams ‘summer’ to me as well, even though I took these photos in November. Minor detail.
I like to think of it as my kindred plant spirit. That sounds really deep at 4:15 am, but I really only feel that way because my name is Cassie.
…the Nanny reruns, Real Housewives of New Jersey, and reading whatever the hell I feel like reading (and thesis research, but I’m still pretending that doesn’t exist for one more day).
But summer also means raspberries on sale. Raspberries for dessert.
I love summer.
